The lyrics are very encouraging and centered on positivity rather than dwelling and spinning into depression, which seems to be a tendency of some bands nowadays.
I love the clean production that really separates the instruments. Being a big fan of keyboard, I was thrilled to find out that the first song contains a segment of keyboard!
Thomas Wilson really shines on the vocals, and his drumming is excellent. He seems to be the main composer behind the album.
The cover art by Jon Hooper (who also plays lead guitar on this album) is fantastic to me, because I can relate to it. I must also note that the lyric sheet is printed CLEARLY and is free of mistakes (as far as I can see).
My favourite tracks:
Isolophobia
Prison Walls
Brand New Day (killer ballad)
You Know What To Do
When Love Dies
Brand New Day (extended mix - even better than the original)
HAIL to my fellow rockin' Christian Canadians!
Two thumbs up!
